Last night I got to meet and thank one of my favorite singer\songwriters for his music. I got to tell him how every album he has put out helped me through the hardest point in my life. Andy told me I didn’t need to thank him and he thanked ME for saying this. He was one of the nicest, most genuine musicians I have ever met in my life. And he was awesome. I apologized for being “That guy” and he jumped in right away and said “No! You’re not being ‘that guy!’ If that’s what ‘that guy’ is, than you’re being ‘that guy’ in the best possible way. Thank you so much.” Oh and then we nerded out about Dark Knight Rises for a minute. Last night was rad.
